 Apple avoided CES...but its presence was felt...as news continues of iPad 3 ramping up with a quad core processor and a retina display...I expected to see a lot of 2012 iPad "killers" at CES.  The new Samsung Galaxy tab looks good, but I am falling in love with the ability to tweak and hack Android, and I was expecting to see some really good devices.  But there weren't any.  

I get it.  Apple is a juggernaut in this category that they created themselves.  But how can they be so "far ahead" that competitive products didn't even SHOW UP at the world's largest electronics show?

Get it together guys.  Google has a good tablet OS now, and it needs some sleek metal and glass "pad devices" to run on.
